Design And Construction
• Cylindrical aluminium case with M12 x 12 stud for mounting
and earthing.
• Dielectric consists of self-healing, low-loss metallised polypropylene
foil.
• Dry type, ensuring there is neither possibility of impregnating
liquid leakage nor toxicity.
• Connection is made through double-faston 6.3x0.8mm terminals.
• Equipped with over-pressure disconnection device in case of
overload condition.
• 1-Phase capacitors. Discharge resistor available on request.
Applications
Especially suitable for Power Factor Correction and Tuned Filter applications
due to the following properties:
• Excellent voltage and current overload capacity. Upon careful
selection of capacitor, overload current may be up to (3x) the rated
current permanently.
• Exceptional high life expectancy. Extreme purity of the material
used prevents a deterioration of the loss factor and thereby a reduction
of the dielectric strength and the current load capacity.
• Safe reaction at overload and during possible breakdowns. Offers
the highest possible standard of safety with an overload disconnector,
which activates at internal overpressure, disconnects the capacitor
from the mains and thereby prevents capacitor destruction.
